Games Off So Far As Clubs Feel Force Of Storm Dennis

By Sam Elliott

Storm Dennis and the wild winter weather has already had an impact on the weekend’s National League football.

Leaders Barrow won’t get the opportunity to stretch their lead at the top of the table - their game with Dagenham and Redbridge has been postponed.

Earlier in the day Barnet revealed there won’t be any play at the Hive on Saturday.

The Bees’ match with second-place Harrogate Town was the first to fall.

Matches at Wrexham and AFC Fylde have been postponed due to safety reasons.

In the South division, Wealdstone's visit to Eastbourne Borough has been cancelled, with high winds expected on the South Coast.

Finally, Darlington have announced the postponement of their clash with Leamington in Vanarama National League North.

We will continue to update supporters on cancellations both on the National League website and on Twitter.

As ever, we encourage everyone to check Club social media channels before setting off.
