Games Off Across The National League On Boxing Day

By Sam Elliott

There will be no Boxing Day action for some this afternoon after five matches succumbed to the weather.

Rain in Hampshire means two matches will not take place on Thursday.

The National League game between Eastleigh and Aldershot was postponed after a very wet night in the area.

Further along the south coast there were similar issues as a Christmas downpour caused problems with surfaces.

Havant & Waterlooville vs Weymouth is also off because of a waterlogged pitch.

There has also been rain in Kent, and the derby between Tonbridge v Maidstone won’t go ahead either, it was announced at 9am.

Kettering vs Brackley and Barnet’s big game with Boreham Wood is also off.

No new dates for the fixtures have yet been decided.

As always, it is advised to keep a close eye on clubs’ social media and websites before setting off for your festive fixtures.
