The Shaymen were 2-0 down to Solihull Moors on Saturday and heading out of the FA Trophy.
But the 2016 winners’ substitutes did the trick and they stormed back - and could have even won tie on the day.
But the manager says he thinks they can win the replay on Tuesday despite Moors’ strong home form.
He said: “We deserved to get back into the game, there’s no doubt about that.
“We were a bit perplexed at being 2-0 down and we should have never given them that type of platform.
“But we worked hard to get ourselves back in it and that’s what your substitutes are for. Now we can go there looking to get through. That's the challenge.
“We have a very good record against the top teams in the National League and this is another game where we’ve held our own.”
