The friendlies continued on Tuesday night with the new Vanarama National League season under three weeks away.

Rochdale stepped up their preparations for life in the Vanarama National League with a 2-0 win over Tranmere Rovers - Tyrese Sinclair and Devante Rodney did the business.

Alex Reid and Mike Fondop both got two as Oldham Athletic thrashed Chorley 6-1 - Devarn Green and Kurt Willoughby got the other for the Latics.

Eastleigh played out a goalless draw with Oxford United.

Josh Kelly bagged a hat-trick for Solihull Moors who thrashed Nuneaton Borough - Max Brogan added the gloss for Andy Whing's side.

Kidderminster Harriers had their second pre-season friendly and beat Halesowen Town - new signing Zak Brown getting two goals.

New signings Kwesi Appiah and Mo Sagaf were on the scoresheet for Boreham Wood against Chelsea.

The Wood were three goals to the good inside 20 minutes before the Premier League side mounted a comeback.

Brackley Town held League One Burton Albion courtesy of an Alfie Bates double.

Maz Kouhyar got the only goal as ten-man York City edged League Two side Doncaster Rovers.

Scunthorpe United hit six at Gainsborough Trinity.

Gloucester and Oxford City played out a draw as did Farnborough and Aldershot.

Curzon Ashton were in front against Macclesfield but slipped to a 4-1 defeat while Dover lost to Crawley Town.

Tamworth slipped to defeat at Step 4 Harborough Town as Alfreton were held at nearby Long Eaton United.

A trialist was the difference for Maidenhead United against St Albans.
