....services of striker Achille Campion on loan from Sky Bet League One outfit Port Vale.
The 25-year-old Frenchman, who joined the Valiants from Swedish club Norrby IF last term.
He played his early football with French club Dunkerque before going to the United States on a soccer scholarship where he played college sides Belhaven Blazers, UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, Baton Rouge Capitals and Ventura County Fusion.
He moved to Norway in 2013 and signed for Norrby and went on trial with several English clubs before being signed by Vale in January.
Campion trained with the Gulls before putting pen-to-paper on a loan deal.
“He has showed me that he is a good player with the right attitude,” said player-manager Kevin Nicholson. “He is the kind of character that I want around the place.
“He looks like a player; he’s physically strong and holds the ball up well.
“I’ve seen enough in training this week to feel that he will bring something extra to us.”
Campion is yet to figure for Vale this season, but made a dozen appearances last term and scored one goal.
