....moved to bring in Anthony Jeffrey on transfer deadline day with the exciting winger signing an eighteen-month deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old will be immediately loaned back to his previous employers, Boreham Wood, as the North London side strive to get out of the National League drop zone.
After receiving an excellent football schooling through the Arsenal youth system, Jeffrey featured in the Football League for both Wycombe Wanderers and Stevenage, as well as for a number of fifth tier clubs following his exit from the Gunners in 2014.
Normally deployed as a wide player with considerable pace, he has made thirteen league appearances for Boreham Wood so far this term, including eight starts, scoring once and providing three assists.
Jeffrey had joined the Gunners when he was only eight, progressing through the youth ranks and into the under-21 squad at the Emirates Stadium.
League Two Wycombe tied down his signature in January 2014 and he helped the Chairboys retain their League status.
Moves into the non-League game at Boreham Wood and Welling followed, before starting this season with ambitious Concord Rangers in the National League South, who loaned him up a level to the Meadow Park side before making the move permanent.
The paperwork for his move was completed just before the transfer window closed. However, Jeffrey will continue at Boreham Wood as they battle to get out of the relegation zone.
