Flanagan's Delight At Curzon Win

John Flanagan was pleased that his side were able to get a late goal and win after defeating Darlington 1-0.

"It was a scrappy first-half but if that is how we have to be to get points and results, the second-half we opened them up a bit more, this is a very good result," said Flanagan to the club's website, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We don't lose many games and to get more points on the board was crucial for us, so I'm very pleased."

The game was settled thanks to a strike by Tyrell McKenzie, Flanagan hopes this gives him a boost.

"I'm delighted with the goal, it was a great finish, it gives both the player and the team something, Tyrell is a great lad, he needed that, as a forward you need to get goals and he's taken it really well."
