Flanagan Wants Confidence To Be Built From FA Cup Win

Concord Rangers defeated Tunbridge Wells 4-0 in the FA Cup, now the aim is for them to add more points to their league total.

Adam Flanagan says his sides confidence should be boosted from their win on Saturday, as they aim to move out of the relegation zone in the near future, writes Tom Feaheny.

Speaking to BBC Essex Sport he said.

"Our league form has been disappointing as of late, this cup game helped us, we played with a bit of freedom, we had some lads missing, those who came in did well."

He added "We've gone out at this stage the past few seasons, so it was nice that we applied oursleves at the right way, an FA Cup run can help any Non-League team out financially along with that momentum as well."

Now with Hampton & Richmond coming up next in the Vanarama National League South, Flanagan spoke about the importance of building from this victory.

"We took our chances, the win-less run is over, we've lost five games, though we've given a good account of ourselves, confidence is key, we've been playing well and losing now we have that first win, we can take that forward."
