Flanagan Expecting Open Game Between Curzon And Telford

The two sides face each other at the Tameside Stadium tonight, with a 7:45pm kick-off

A win for Curzon could see them move up to fourth in the table for 24 hours, after they started the season with a win, loss and a draw, writes Tom Feaheny.

John Flanagan spoke to the club's website and expect Rob Edwards side to react to their defeat against Salford City, he said.

"They will be stinging a little bit after a loss, but you normally get a reaction from the team, changes to be made.

He added: "I'm expecting a tough game, to be fair that is the case in every game in this league."

Flanagan believes that playing at the Tameside gives his side the advantage going into the game as they can dictate the style of play.

"We like playing at home, we have a good surface, we like to play on the ground, it will be a good game, I can't see it being a draw, it will be an open match down to who defends best on the day."
