My Team-Mates: With Welling United's Left Back Ben Jefford

We've been getting to know the Welling United squad with Ben Jefford having his say on his teammates!

Jefford gave his answers to these questions, writes Tom Feaheny.

The Team DJ?

Jeffrey Monakana is normally the one that steps up, Not many of the boys like to step up and stick there music on.

First to training?

Me, I’m normally the first one there as I have to leave 3 hours before training, as I live miles away

Last to training?

There’s a couple, Orlu and Jeffrey were in a car school for a bit and it was a shambles, put the fines up and they’re there early so they don’t have to pay a tenner!

Biggest eater?

Tough because we don’t eat together much, a few boys like a curry after training on a Thursday

Teacher's pet?

Don’t really have a teachers pet, Joe Healy speaks to him quite a bit but I think that’s just to try and get another year out of him

Worst car?

The standard of cars isn’t too bad, maybe Jack Jebb, looks like a hairdressers car and he could pass for a hairdresser

Best dressed?

Healy often dresses quite smart when we go out, Jebby would be up there too he likes all the designer gear

Worst dressed?

Nanetti would have to be up there, seen him quite a few times looking like someone from an Italian mafia

Hard man in the team?

On the pitch would be Connor Dymond, loves a tackle, off the pitch I reckon Orlu could look after himself

Most likely to go into management?

parky is assistant manager and tries to play too but could see him being a manager some day, Me or Connor Dymond would be up there too.

Joker in the group?

There’s a few funny lads but no one that plays pranks on people, parky tries hard but doesn’t get anywhere, sometimes you’ll walk in the changing room and Joe Healy has stuck pictures on the wall of people from the programme
