FC United Legend Greaves Goes To Rammy To Get Games

FC United of Manchester legend Tom Greaves has left the club he has served for over five seasons - but he is likely to return before long.

The fans' favourite has joined Ramsbottom United of the Evo-Stik League on dual registration.

Greaves has been in and out of the United team for the past few season but has decided to get some extra game time elsewhere.

Mark Fell, the Ramsbottom manager, is delighted to sign the striker.

He said: "Tom is a top class player, he needs to be playing games at this point in his career and enjoying his football, I think we give him a platform to do both.

"He's already well known to a lot of our lads so will integrate well in the dressing room.

"My thanks go to Karl Marginson for allowing the dual registration and hopefully it can be to the benefit of both clubs."
