Fan Power! Chorley Supporters' Trust Set To Jump On Board

Chorley fans on are on the verge of having a big say in their club with the Supporters’ Trust set to become a shareholder.

The move has been backed by manager Jamie Vermiglio - who has vowed to dig deep and become a part owner himself!

The Magpies manager spoke to the Chorley Guardian about the plans and confirmed he is hoping to put his hand in his pocket.

It’s certainly a great time to be a fan - the team are four points clear at the top of the National League North with three months to go.

“I think it is great,” he told the website. “The supporters trust play a big part in our club.

“We are not funded by one person, we are very reliant on trying to get income from all sources.

“The supporters trust play a big part in raising the profile of the club, they do a lot behind the scenes with out community stuff. It is great to have them on board and good for them to have a voice on the board.”
