Fan Power At Darlington! Raise The Roof Target Achieved

The £50,000 target has been achieved thanks to the fan power at Darlington.

The money will be used to help fund the installation of a new stand at Blackwell Meadows, writes Tom Feaheny.

“Once again our fans have stepped up to the plate. From our big individual community share investors to the fans throwing in their coins on a matchday, everyone has played their part in reaching this target," Chris Stockdale, DFCSG Chair said to the Darlington Supporters Group website.

"Looking to the future as a board we are very aware that our members and supporters don’t expect us to stop here. Its one of our priorities over the coming months to produce a thorough and realistic plan, working with the Football Club board, on how we can continue to develop our infrastructure to underpin the future growth of our club.”

The supporters of the club have raised an impressive £208,000 since April as they look to help the club, with talks now ongoing as to when the improvements to the ground will take place.
