FA Trophy Draw Is Made As Race To Wembley Heats Up

By Sam Elliott

The draw for the fourth round of the FA Trophy has just been made.

There’s still plenty to be decided with a storm-hit Saturday reducing the number of ties.

But there are some interesting matches in prospect in the New Year with a final at Wembley Stadium in may the carrot for clubs.

Slough Town's reward for defeating rivals Maidenhead United is as game with Kidderminster Harriers.

York City will be well aware of Gainsborough Trinity's great cup record this year and it is sure to be a tricky trip.

Two fancied National League sides meet as Altrincham welcome Barnet.

Stockton beat Oldham Athletic on Saturday - and either Leamington or Rochdale are next in the firing line.

Forest Green won't have an easy game against Chorley with holders Gateshead at home Boston United, if they can get the better of Farsley first.

Winners receive a cheque for £5,250, with defeated sides earning £1,500 for the prize fund.
