FA Cup Draw Is Made As EFL Big Boys Join The Competition

The draw for the FA Cup first round has been made, and it has thrown up some fantastic ties.

League One and League Two teams enter the competition and following Saturday’s excitement, things are about to get serious.

Winners bank a cheque for £41,000, with the matches taking place on the first weekend of November.

It’s all eyes on the Beveree tomorrow with the winners of the Torquay United and Hampton & RB replay welcoming giants Derby County - and possibly the TV cameras.

Hereford, who stunned Bromley last weekend, pictured, have a fantastic tie at home again 2008 winners Portsmouth to look forward to.

Ebbsfleet United are unbeaten - they welcome FC Halifax Town, while Weymouth will fancy their chances of an upset against struggling AFC Wimbledon.

Solihull Moors face Hartlepool United, Woking look to stun Oxford United while National League North club Curzon Ashton have a great game at home to Cambridge United.

Chippenham Town will host Lincoln City if they see off Hendon in Tuesday’s replay.

York City are at Shrewsbury Town while it's Doncaster Rovers for National League North leaders King’s Lynn Town.

There are so all-National League games too - Boreham Wood welcome Eastleigh as Maidenhead United and Dagenham & Redbridge lock horns.
