Following the AGM at Celtic Manor, it was announced that National League clubs were in favour of expanding the play-off spots from four to six across all three divisions.
Teams finishing in sixth and seventh place are now included with second and third proceeding straight into the one-legged semi-final at their home ground.
Fourth and fifth will host seventh and sixth to see who will complete the semi-final fixtures.
And new Woking manager Limbrick reckons the change is for the better: "I think the two extra play-off spots will be good for the league.
"I think there will be a lot more to play for - halfway through the season if we're still in touch with the play-offs or around the mid-table position.
"If you're within six or seven points and you put a run together, you could really make that. It gives teams an opportunity and it's something we'll look to take advantage of, but we know how tough the league is and how big the budgets are.
"We can't control that, we have to look after ourselves and make sure we do the right things. If we finished in the top half and looked to push and be an outside chance for the play-offs then we'd be happy with that."
