Experienced Defender Joins Curzon

By Steve Whitney

Vanarama National League North club Curzon Ashton have welcomed Danny Hall to the Tameside Stadium.

The experienced centre-back joins from National League side Guiseley AFC, where he has played for two seasons.

He helped guide Guiseley to promotion via the play-offs in the 2014/15 season, where he was an integral part of the team.

Hall also has experience of playing football locally and played for Curzon`s local rivals Hyde United when they won the National League North back in 2012.

Prior to that, Hall played in the Football League for Chesterfield and Shrewsbury, as well as having a spell in Scotland with Gretna.

Hall has been training with the squad during pre-season and is expected to play a part when Curzon make the short trip to Mossley AFC for their first pre-season friendly on Saturday.
