Expect More Of The Same From Harrogate Says Weaver

Vanarama National League North leaders Harrogate Town take on Bradford Park Avenue for the third time this season tonight - and manager Simon Weaver says he won't be changing much.

The two sides met earlier this month in the FA Cup third qualifying round where the tie went to replay after a 0-0 draw at Harrogate's CNG Stadium, where tonight's fixture takes place.

Town won 2-0 at Bradford thanks to a goal from Joe Leesley and an own-goal from Danny Boshell.

Since then, Harrogate have stayed top of the division while Bradford haven't won and slipped to 15th.

They lost 2-1 at Darlington on Saturday as Harrogate were held by Leamington but Weaver insists they won't be doing anything differently despite already playing Bradford twice.

"We've come out of the blocks fast in the league but there will times where we have to learn and grow as a team," he said.

"Both managers know the opposition team a bit more from those games. We're pretty much the same in terms of the way we're playing. We'll look to do things a little brighter, try and free the lads.

"Just because we haven't had a win on Saturday shouldn't clamp them on deny themselves opportunities to get on the ball.

"It'll be a good atmosphere, a good derby, they've got good players and we have too so it should be a cracking game."
