Exeter Keeper Loaned To Gloucester Until April

Gloucester City have signed goalkeeper James Hamon on loan from SkyBet League Two side Exeter City until April 7th.

Hamon signed a professional contract at Exeter in the summer of 2014 and quickly worked his way into battling for the number one spot, making twenty-two appearances that season.

His debut came in a 3-1 defeat away at Coventry City in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy before he made his first League start for City as they defeated Shrewsbury Town 3-2 at home.

The past two seasons Hamon`s first appearances have been limited as he played understudy to both Christy Pym and Bobby Olejnik in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons, but he has been an integral part of the squad at St James` Park.

The young keeper, who began his career with Bostik League South side Guernsey, is also a great golfer and has numerous awards to his name in that sport as well.

The 22-year-old has trained with the Tigers and will go straight into their squad for their match with Weston-super-Mare today.
