Everything That Happened On Tuesday Evening

By Sam Elliott

An important evening down the bottom left plenty to chew on as April opened with some important results.

Wealdstone were the night’s big winners, climbing back out of the bottom four and dumping Boston United back into it.

The Stones were 1-0 winners, reliable striker Alex Reid bagged the potentially critical goal after 20 minutes.

AFC Fylde lost for a fifth time in six matches, Aldershot Town warmed up for their FA Trophy semi-final with rivals Woking with an in the end comfortable 2-0 win.

James Henry and Josh Barrett in the 96th minute made the points safe.

Woking aren’t safe yet even after Harry Beautyman, pictured, pinched a late point at home to Rochdale who went ahead through Devante Rodney.

We say goodbye to Farsley Celtic who were relegated from the National League North.

A 3-1 home loss to Oxford City sealed their fate, Josh Ashby, Phil Crocker and Zak McEachran did the damage.

Curzon Ashton’s 3-2 win at Needham Market means they need a miracle to avoid joining Farsley. Marcus Poscha was the match winner, his goal sending the Nash back into the top seven.

Warrington Town could go down this weekend after another defeat, this time to Spennymoor Town. Finley Shrimpton and Aidan Rutledge inside the first 25 minutes had the game won early.
