The defender put in a man-of-the-match performance as Barrow continued their perfect home form.
“He’s got it all,” Evatt told the club’s YouTube channel. “He’s just got to keep dedicating himself the way he is doing.”
“He can be anything he wants to be and if he keeps listening and improving, he can go on to bigger and better things.
“But for now we’ve got him and if he can settle in to a position and make it his own, it’s better for us.”
Speaking of the game itself, Evatt added: “I’m delighted with the result more than the performance today.
“We work day in, day out on being a possession based team but and today that wasn’t quite there.
“But it’s nice to see that we can battle and scrap when things aren’t going well for us.
“We’ve won a scrappy 1-0 and that’s never too bad,” he added.
Next up for Barrow is a trip to big-spending Salford City on Bank Holiday Monday.
