Evatt In No Rush To Lose Winning Feeling Just Yet

Ian Evatt wants Barrow to push on after their latest win and admits his side could've had more goals.

The Bluebirds claimed their sixth win of the season thanks to goals from Jack Hindle and Luke Burgess.

And boss Evatt says his side could have easily trebled their tally on another day.

"The main thing is that we got the right result," he told the club's YouTube channel.

"We've earned the rub of the green. I think they could have had two or three but we could have had five or six. That's a fair reflection."

"We've got lots of things to improve on but the main thing is we've got back to back wins and an away win all in a week, and that's pleasing.

"Hopefully we can put a run together and really push on."

Dan Jones took the plaudits again with another performance in the back four and Evatt was quick to praise the defender.

"He's outstanding. Absolutely outstanding," Evatt said.

"He's a fantastic footballer and I love him to bits. I've made no secret about what he can achieve in that position. He's very good."
