Scott Quigley and Dior Angus have both agreed to play for the club next season.
Quigley has signed a three-year contract at Holker Street.
Angus played 11 times on loan for the Bluebirds last season and makes the permanent move.
Evatt clearly didn’t think his squad scored enough goals last season and has acted quickly to put that right.
Barrow improved under their new boss after avoiding relegation on the final day of the 2017-18 campaign.
Evatt seems to be in a hurry to get his squad together.
He told the Evening Mail this weekend: “It’s brilliant, the club are backing me 100 per cent as to what I need.
“Obviously, we have a budget and we’re not flashing cash around.
“We are maintaining our responsibility to be sustainable, so we’re getting good young footballers and assets on the football pitch, which is great, and it will also improve us as a squad and team.”
