Eustace Proud Of Harriers In Nine-Goal Thriller

John Eustace was proud of his players to come out on the right side of an incredible nine-goal game at home to Blyth Spartans yesterday.

The two sides went goal crazy to produce the match of the weekend in which Kidderminster won 5-4 - watch match highlights here.

Blyth led 3-2 at half-time only for Harriers to turn the game on its head in the second half.

Eustace said: “It was obviously an exciting game for the fans, with lots to work on for us.

“The lads showed great character and I couldn’t be more pleased for them. I’m proud of them as well; going down 3-2 at half-time against an excellent team, the boys showed a togetherness that is getting better and better for such a young group.

“To come back – full credit to them. Results haven’t been where we want them but they are improving and getting better.

“You can see that the lads are together and it is important that we’re all together.

“There will be more ups and downs throughout the season but we are working our hardest to get it right.”
