Eustace Proud As Gritty Kidderminster Defy Their Critics

John Eustace was left feeling “really proud” of his Kidderminster Harriers side after they managed to grind out a goalless draw at AFC Telford United.

Harriers, often praised for the good football they produce, had to roll their sleeves up at the New Bucks Head.

Even though they left Shropshire with just a point, boss Eustace was pleased that his team showed they can battle and do the physical side of the game as well.

Eustace told the club’s website: “It was always going to a tough test for us and, overall, a draw is a fair result.

“A lot of people have questioned us at times throughout the season about playing in conditions like that. So I am really proud of the lads, the whole team were very dogged today.

“The lads are growing throughout the season. We are getting asked different questions and they are answering them now.”
