Eustace: Derby Loss A Learning Experience For Harriers

The Harriers were defeated 4-0 by the Championship side.

While Kidderminster tasted defeat in this match, Eustace felt his team were able to take positives from the performance, writes Tom Feaheny.

Speaking to the club's website, he said they gained what they wanted from the game.

"It was a good experience for them, it is all about getting fit. The lads efforts was fantastic and also in the second-half where we had trailists who had only arrived today, they kept going.

"We are having to get used to playing as a team again, we are missing players from last season, so it is about getting to know each other and ensuring we are fully prepared for the start of August."

The Harriers won't have to wait long for their next match as they once again host another Championship side, this time in Aston Villa. Eustace says these kind of opponents can help the team develop.

"It will just be as tough, we know once again we are playing against a top side, the lads are looking forward to it."

After this match, Kidderminster will also face two Premier League clubs in Burnley and West Brom, as they get ready to once again try and gain promotion from the Vanarama National League North after being defeated in the play-off semi-finals last season.
