Wynter Comes to Cards

By Will Hinch

Woking have announced the signing of Jordan Wynter.

Wynter, 23, is a midfield player who started his career in the youth team at Arsenal, signing his first professional deal in 2012 and went on to make seven appearances for the Arsenal under-21 team.

The following season, he joined Bristol City on a two-year deal, making his debut in August 2013 against Bradford City, scoring his first goal for the club a few days later in the 2-0 Carling Cup victory against Gillingham.

The versatile player signed for League Two side Cheltenham Town in February 2015 on an eighteen-month deal, where he had loan spells at Farnborough and AFC Telford United.

Wynter joined Bromley in November 2016, becoming a regular in their side by the end of the season.

Wynter on what type of player he is said: “I would class myself as an athletic sort of player, I like to run up and down, going box-to-box, and if I can join in an attack I would like to do that as well.”

Woking boss Anthony Limbrick said: “Jordan will be a real asset to the team due to his versatility, he can play any of the three midfield positions as well as at right-back. He will be a good addition, making the squad stronger”.
