Embleton Has Done His Homework On Chester

By David Richardson

Leyton Orient interim head coach Ross Embleton thinks he knows how to be a match for Chester tonight.

The O's gained an impressive home draw with leaders Dover Athletic on Saturday and now they go into a big clash at the bottom of the National League.

Visitors Chester are three points below Orient and sit just inside the relegation zone. The Blues also gained an impressive result last weekend at Bromley so Embleton knows his game plan must be spot on.

"They had a good result on the weekend," he said. "We've had them watched and I've done the same. I think I've got a good understanding of how they might approach the game.

"What I've tried to do is take out of the Dover game what I felt we were good at, take out of the game where we can be even better, and then see how those things match-up with Chester to pose a threat.

"I know in my mind how we feel we can be on the front foot and try to take the strengths out of Saturday - and carry that momentum into the first-half of Tuesday's game."
