Elliott Says Pilgrims Delivered A Perfect Away Performance

Boston United boss Craig Elliott was full of praise for his side after they defeated Chorley away from home 1-0.

An early goal by Reece Thompson settled the game and got the Pilgrims back to winning ways, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It was a big win, to get a clean sheet here as well, with a good performance, we can take a lot from this," Elliott told the club's website.

"We limited them to few chances, we managed the game well, this was a perfect away performance."

Elliott says his side have learnt from recent matches as they continue to get better.

"There is a journey for the lads, we aren't making the same mistake twice and that is what matters right now, as we continue to learn.

"This is a good team, we have beaten a team who don't lose many at home, I can see the progression we are making."
