Elliott Relishing Big Games For His Pilgrims Side

Boston United boss Craig Elliott says facing the top sides in the Vanarama National League North is something he is looking forward to.

They first face York City, a team who are looking to get promoted back to the Vanarama National League, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We have some tough games but these are the games we look forward to most," Elliott told the club's website.

"There will be a bit of freedom for us, the pressure isn't there, I will see the quality that is in this group when we play the best sides.

The Pilgrims haven't had a game for the past two weekends, with Elliott hoping it had the desired impact.

"I'm hoping that the free weekends will have had an affect for us, so we can get a few players back and get them ready.

"We know the intensity we need for the York game, I hope we can deliver it now."
