Elliott Makes Backroom Changes

Boston United manager Craig Elliott has confirmed departures and additions to his backroom staff at The Jakemans Stadium.

Moving on are assistant-manager Karl Hawley and goalkeeping coach Dave McCarthy and Elliott paid tribute to the duo for their assistance during his opening weeks in-post.

Elliott told the club`s official Pitchero website: "I cannot speak highly enough of them both. They have been a massive part of the club and it was a difficult decision, but they know football and deep down they know that if I am going to do this job, I have to do it my way with people around me who I have worked with before.

"I cannot thank them enough, but it is important I start as I mean to go on."

Elliott will be assisted by Darren Smith, Lee Stratford and goalkeeping coach Rich Lawrence moving forward.
