Elliott Appreciates Task At Hand At Boston United

The new Boston United boss Craig Elliott sees his side play at home for the first time in the FA Trophy against Kidderminster Harriers.

So far a loss against Harrogate Town in the league was followed by a penalty shootout defeat in the Lincolnshire Senior Cup to Gainsborough Trinity, writes Tom Feaheny.

"The aim is to show improvement, we are at home the next three games and that is very important to see a reaction starting with the FA Trophy match. It’s important to get confidence in the camp, so any game, and going on any run, is important," Elliott said.

"I have a style of play, and I want to be able to implement that, but it will take time for it to happen, maybe a few weeks, it's important to get the right characters in.

"We've already made a couple of changes with players coming in, it is important though not to make too many as before I came in, the results were bad, they had started to pick up points again.

Already the Pilgrims have played the Harriers in the National League North in a match that ended 1-1.
