Edwards Says Marker Set For Bucks In Battle To Stay Up

AFC Telford United boss Rob Edwards says the performance against Spennymoor Town has to be replicated from now on.

A 3-2 win against a side going for promotion moved the Bucks level on points with Curzon Ashton as they just remain in the relegation zone.

"I was really pleased with the performance level, the work-rate and the desire shown," Edwards said.

"Credit to the players to keep going, we were on top then are 2-1 down, we didn't make it count at times but we got it done.

"We started the second-half well, to score three goals and win the game is very pleasing."

They are back at home tomorrow against Chorley and Edwards has called for the same again.

"The recovery has started already, every game is crucial now, we have to take it one game at a time.

"Our support helped and they could see what we were doing we need to do this again."
