The Bucks lost against the ten man side after coming back from 2-0 down to level but just couldn't hold on or get the crucial fifth goal. Highlights here, writes Tom Feaheny.
Speaking to the club's website after the defeat, Edwards reflected on the loss saying.
"We played well for the most part, we conceded then became a little bit unsure, we got it back to 2-2, our confidence was up, then we just had the final ball lacking at 3-2 down, they saw the game out really well."
He added: "We have got to remember, we have lost narrowly to the team who lost in the play-off final, we pushed them, we know they had ten men, but
Edwards was pleased to see the way his side reacted to conceding and the loss as well.
"We want the players to show they care and be frustrated if we lose, that's what they showed, we can tell them all about it from the sidelines but you need to see that."
They next take on Stafford Rangers in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup and Edwards is looking forward to the match.
"The FA Cup brings up interesting matches, we will take it seriously, it is a local game, it will have a good atmosphere, we will do the basics right."
