Edwards: Satisfying Start To Season For Bucks

AFC Telford United boss Rob Edwards says his side can be satisfied with their season so far, as they look ahead to the next set of games.

After they reached the next round of the FA Cup and sit 13th in the Vanarama National League North, writes Tom Feaheny.

Edwards spoke to the Shropshire Star about their position so far.

“We are three points off the play-offs, in the middle of the table, and in the next round of the FA Cup – there are positives there.”

When looking at their next FA Cup game which will take place against Stafford Rangers, Edwards told the club's website.

"Another tough challenge for us, they have shown their quality in the previous round beating Tamworth and with them being at home they will fancy their chances."

And reflecting on their weekend victory against Barwell, Edwards was pleased with their performances and hopes they can carry it into the next league games.

"It is very important to be in the next round of the FA Cup, there are elements we need to improve on, we created chances but we gifted them an opportunity, if we can limit sides to just that we are doing okay."
