Dyer: 20 Games Unbeaten Helped By Teamtalk

Hampton and Richmond Borough assistant Ian Dyer says making it 20 without loss is something the team are very proud of.

A 2-1 win away at Eastbourne Borough also moved the side up to 2nd in the Vanarama National League South table, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It was very pleasing, we had to grind it out at times but to win and go 20 games unbeaten is a very good achievement by the lads," Dyer told the club's website.

"Charlie Wassmer showed a lot of desire to win the ball, I'm really pleased for him as he gets another goals for himself and really helped us.

"We were honest with the lads, we weren't at the desired standard, we didn't just want the draw, we want to win and climb the table, we were honest with them but they were with themselves.

"The second-half was fantastic and we deserved the win in the end."
