Dreyer Leaves Southport As Assistant-Manager

Southport have announced that assistant-manager John Dreyer has departed from his role at the club.

On his departure, Dreyer told his club`s official website: “After on-going discussions, it is with much regret that I relinquish my position as assistant-manager at Southport FC. I felt that being based down south I couldn’t give Kevin Davies the necessary support that is required. I wish everyone every success and I am very confident that results will soon come good.”

The Board and Kevin Davies have placed on record their thanks to John Dreyer for his efforts and dedication during his time at Southport and know this was not an easy decision to take.
