Dowson: Half-Time Team Talk Key To Win

Hampton & Richmond manager Alan Dowson says a half-time telling off worked wonders as his side made it three wins in a row.

With his side scoring twice late onto secure the victory, in a 3-1 win against Bath City, they almost went in behind at half-time but scored with moments to go with Malachi Napa, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We were lucky to get in at 1-1 at half-time, they were better than us, I went mad at half-time, we showed real character to come back and get that win," Dowson said to the club's website.

"There were a few lads that really stood out for us, that is what we needed, I said things during the break and they listened."

"We have that confidence, three wins and ten unbeaten, we know how important it is to attack teams and go for it, we will keep doing that."
