The Whites were beaten by Bromley in mid-week but claimed their second impressive scalp of the season seeing off Dean Keates' side yesterday.
Kinnear's men won at Hartlepool United on the opening day, and after a number of new signings this summer, they have hit the ground running.
"There's still a lot of work to do, it's a whole new side but we've got to be pleased with them," he said after yesterday's win. "They're all listening and wanting to improve and that's all you can ask for.
"We've had a tough start. We've played Hartlepool and Wrexham, who are two favourites, and we've beaten both. We're not going to get carried away.
"Last year we were the second highest scorers in the league and hopefully we can start banging a few more in.
"We've got five decent forwards who are all mobile and can score goals. Whoever we have out there can cause the other side problems."
