Doswell: Sutton Keep Answering The Questions

Sutton United boss Paul Doswell says his side keep answering the questions people have of them.

A 2-0 win against Eastleigh moved United back to top of the table, writes Tom Feaheny.

"The players deserve a lot of credit, we have faced two physical sides at home in recent weeks and got maximum points, you have to applaud the way we played," Doswell told the club's website.

"We created chances, forced their keeper into some smart saves and limited them to the odd opportunity, we handled them well."

With the half-way point of the season now gone, Doswell assessed how the season has been for them so far.

"54 points is still the original target, we know we can get that, it is such an exciting league, we aim to get enough points for the play-offs, it is game by game, we have given ourselves a great chance to be pushing."
