The south west London side are going through a challenging time and on Saturday lost 1-0 at Dagenham.
They appear to be going off the boil at the wrong moment.
It’s now three without a win - and the team haven’t scored in that barren period.
Doswell remains fully behind his players, who are ninth but level on points with the National League’s top seven.
With so many players battling for a play-off place he reckons there’s a lot of work ahead if they want to extend their season into May.
Doswell said: “We’re missing players and that’s creating a bit of an issue for us at the moment.
“It was a game that neither ourselves of Dagenham looked particularly threatening in. We needed more in the final third.
“It’s a dogfight to get into the play-offs - it’s not going to be easy for us.
“We have 12 matches left to play now and it will take six wins, possibly even seven, for us to make it.
“The players have been great for me and now we need to win as many games as we can in the final eight or nine weeks and we’ll see what happens.”
