Dons Defender Robinson Is Hawks' Latest Capture

Experienced Paul Robinson has tonight become Havant & Waterlooville’s latest big signing.

The AFC Wimbledon centre-back, who has pleased nearly 450 Football League games, is the club’s second new signing today.

He joins another League One player, striker Nicke Kabamaba, as Lee Bradbury’s squad is starting to come together.

The National League South champions have added 36-year-old Robinson and his new manager says the centre-back has plenty still to offer.

“He’s played at a very good level, is a leader of men and a very determined and hard-working character and will bring us a lot both on and off the pitch,” Bradbury told the club’s website.

“It’s a good signing, it’s fortunate that he lives 10 minutes away in Petersfield and everything seemed to fit for him.

"We’re very excited by the signing and will a great addition to the great defence that we have already got.”
