Dixon is The First To Leave Stockport After Play-Off Defeat

Stockport County, who lost in the Vanarama National League North play-off eliminators on Wednesday night, have released midfielder Bohan Dixon.

Dixon, who stands 6`4”, joined the Hatters on a one-year deal in September 2017 with an option for a further twelve months.

He was virtually a permanent fixture in AFC Fylde’s title-winning side in 2016/17, scoring 6 goals in thirty-eight appearances as the Coasters secured the National League North title.

Dixon also played in the Football League with Accrington Stanley before stints with Marine AFC, Lincoln City, Northwich Vicoria, Stalybridge Celtic and Salford City, where he scored on his debut and helped the Ammies to clinch the Evo-Stik First Division North championship.

The 28-year-old scored 2 league goals last season for the Hatters and made twenty appearances, thirteen of them off the bench.
