Deals Done As Clubs Gear Up For Second Half Of Season

Here’s a look at some of the deals done across the Vanarama National League in the past seven days.

The transfer merry-go-round has been at full tilt across the three divisions as our clubs get their squads ready for the second half of the season.

Vanarama National League

Ben Krauhaus is on his way to Premier League Brentford for a club record fee.

Bromley confirmed the academy graduate had made the move on Monday – with the 20-year-old heading back to Hayes Lane on loan for the remainder of the season.

He wasn’t the only starlet leaving the Vanarama National League – Josh Stokes penned a deal at Bristol City.

After a prolific six months at Aldershot, their boss Tommy Widdrington says the club expected the interest in their star man.

“It’s come as no surprise to any of us (Staff) that Josh (and others) have attracted so much interest considering the season he and we’ve had so far.”

“There were lots of clubs at all levels keen to acquire Josh’s services, but I think Bristol City is a great fit for all parties to continue his football journey.”

Widdrington wasted no time bolstering his squad either – adding Josh Barrett from his former club King’s Lynn Town.

Southend United have continued their fine business of late with the addition of striker Danny Waldron.

The former Rushall Olympic man has netted 16 times in the Vanarama National League North this season.

The Shrimpers also confirmed Henry Sandat’s loan has been extended until the end of the season.

Oldham Athletic are another play-off hopefull that have been busy.

One of last season’s Promotion Finalists Andrew Dallas joins the Latics on loan from Barnsley.

The striker joins Oli Hammond, Tom Conlon and Sai Sadchev who have all arrived at Boundary Park so far this month.

Chesterfield have tied down deals for Armando Dobra and Ryheem Sheckleford.

Micheal Doyle is putting his stamp on things as he prepares for Woking’s survival bid.

Charley Kendall, Lewis Walker and Jayden Luker have all joined the Cards.

Danny Kedwell is a name familiar with fans of the National League – and now his son is looking to make a name for himself too.

Harvey Kedwell has joined Dagenham & Redbridge on loan from Charlton Athletic until the end of the season.

Rochdale have borrowed goalkeeper Tiernan Brooks from Notts County. It follows the recall of Louie Moulden.

Vanarama National League North

Rushall Olympic have snapped up midfielder Tom Edge following his release from fellow Vanarama National League North side Boston United.

King’s Lynn Town have swooped as they look to improve – striker Johnny Margetts and Quevin Castro have moved to The Walks.

Hereford have brought a familiar face back to club. Maz Kouhyar joins on loan from Vanarama National League side York City.

Gloucester City have signed former Lincoln City striker Theo Robinson.

Vanarama National League South

Maidstone United have bolstered their squad with experienced striker Manny Duku.

Striker Harvey Bradbury has moved across the Vanarama National League South – he joins Farnborough from Dartford.

Hampton & Richmond have confirmed the loan signing of Sutton United Tope Fadahunsi.

Speaking of the capture, Beavers boss Mel Gwinnett said: He gives me more options in our attack.

"He’s a very strong yet agile player that just gives us something different for what is going to be a very tough second half of the season."
