Dawson Allowed To Leave Tranmere

By Steve Whitney

Winger Adam Dawson has left Tranmere Rovers after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

Formerly with Bury, Liverpool, Wigan Athletic, FC United of Manchester, Leicester City, Kidderminster Harriers and Nuneaton Town, the 25-year-old played nine times in a loan period at Tranmere during 2015/16 before returning to Prenton Park on a permanent deal after leaving league rivals Eastleigh in November 2016.

He struggled to break into the first-team, however, making just four appearances after his return to the club - his last competitive outing coming in a 1-0 victory over Maidstone United on the final day of the regular season last term.
