Davies was as pleased as anyone but would prefer his side to do things the easier way.
“We don’t do boring, but sometimes I wish we did!” the midfielder said to the club’s media channels following the thrilling 2-2 draw.
“God knows how many last minute goals we’ve scored. We made it hard for ourselves, their first goal was a calamity and the secondl was a terrible one to concede. We gave them two gifts but credit to the players for finding a way.
“We’ve got to be happy with a point against the league leaders. We want to win our home games, of course we do. But they’re full-time and they’ve got some fantastic players.
“I thought we were good value for a point. It’s another game unbeaten at home and although it feels like a win, it’s not. We can still do better at times, that’s for sure, but we put up a fight.”
