Davies: Still Plenty Of Twists And Turns In Play-Off Battle

By Tom Feaheny

Wrexham's Andy Davies says his side know they need to be near perfect to ensure a play-off place.

A couple of defeats have seen the side lose what looked like a nailed on play-off place, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We have to ensure we get something from the Orient game, then it could be a crucial decider, a winner takes all," Davies told the club's website.

"All six points would be putting us in a good position, we have to aim high go for the maximum, the last game against Fylde could be the decider.

"The players put in a real performance against Dag & Red, we got the reaction, not the result but we know what we can achieve."

Davies still predicts their to be some more twists and turns before it all ends.

"A team in the play-off places could easily lose the last games, it could happen, it is such a league where, everyone can get points off each other."
