Dave Challinor's Delight As Gap To Play-Offs Is Cut

AFC Fylde boss Dave Challinor says it was certainly a Good Friday for his side as they moved to within two points of the play-off places.

A 2-0 victory against FC Halifax Town means with six games to go there is plenty to play for, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We have to continue to back ourselves, we didn't do that enough first-half but then in the second goals change games, we then managed the game well," Challinor told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"To see it go our way results wise for us and elsewhere is very good for us to see."

Challinor knows the importance of his side leaving Easter with maximum points as his group aim to finish in the play-off places.

"We take on Barrow who are a good side, but we have to just focus on ourselves, rest and recover and get another big win."
