Dartford's Edmundson grabs Young Player of the Month Accolade

Charlie Edmundson of Dartford is the first recipient of The National League’s Young Player of the Month award.

The 16-year-old impressed during the opening month of the National League Football Academy season, scoring three goals in two matches.

The Darts have had a flying start to the campaign thanks to Charlie’s goals, currently sitting joint-top in the NLFA South division.

Four goals in the FA Youth Cup has now taken Charlie’s tally to seven already for the year.

Not only has the striker impressed with his finishing, Charlie is renowned for his positive attitude and tireless work ethic when looking to regain possession for the side.

The award is in place to recognise the achievements of those representing Clubs in the inaugural season of the National League Football Academy.

The Young Player of the Month will stand alongside awards for the Manager, Player and Volunteer of the Month, starting with the October edition in early November.

Charlie Edmundson was presented the Young Player of the Month award by The National League's Head of Player Development, Gary Owers.
