The Wings boss watched his Wings be clipped by the Rebels on Tuesday night.
It wasn’t enough to send them to the top of the table with impressive Aveley also causing a stir in the season’s first six weeks.
But Bloor reckons he saw something not all the tipped sides have during the 2-0 midweek defeat on the south coast.
Goals from Ollie Pearce and Ricky Aguiar confirmed the club’s sixth win of the season as Adam Hinshelwood celebrated his Manager of the Month award.
They set the record straight after a 4-0 humbling at Braintree and Bloor feels Worthing, defeated in the play-offs back in May, are only just getting started.
“We’ve lost against the side who I think wins the league,” he told the club’s video player after the Tuesday night encounter.
“Their front power is great. They’ve brought in someone like Danny Cashman, Nicky Wheeler is the best winger in the league - their power is very very good, isn’t it?
“I felt first half we even shaded it. But the penalty was pivotal. Our heads then dropped a little and it was a tough night at the office.
“But there’s no disgrace losing against Worthing. We’ve got a lot of hard work to do and it starts Thursday night.
Welling haven’t got off to a great start with five defeats from their eight games so far - and the manager knows they need to improve in front of goal.
Bloor went on: “We’re still learning. The goalscoring is a problem, let’s not kid ourselves. We’ve got to keep working and put that right.
“They are all really tough games in this league, there’s so many good sides and Bath City are right up there.
“There’s a lot of full-time teams, clubs who expect to win the league. We all know that but we’ve just got to keep working hard and hopefully we’ll get our just rewards in the end.”
